Fantastic 12 night cruise around The Mediterranean

We have just returned from our 4th cruise with Ocean Village and as on previous cruises we have a wonderful time and are very sad that this will be our last cruise on the ship as it is relocating to Australia. We enjoy the informal type of cruising and we are not sure if Ventura will give us the same informality.

The food in Plantation and The Waterfrnt was very good as usual, lots of choice. We ate three times in La Luna in the evening and twice at lunch time, the food was excellant and the atmosphere great. The first night we celebrated our 40th anniversary and the staff decorated the table and sang to us at the end of the evening, which really made the night special.

All of the staff on board were polite, hard working and helpful and could not be faulted.

We must mention Captain Charlie CArr, he was the most down to earth Captain, who always had time to stop and speak to you and always kept us smiling with his witty remarks at "sail away".

Food very good at all restaurants. We ate in The Waterfront and Plantation and La Luna

We saw two shows which were acceptable but not anything exceptional
Shore Excursions5
The best excursions were Rome, Pisa, Barcelona and Monte Carlo. All excursions we went on were very good

Merton who cleaned our cabin, he was always very helpful and plesant
