This was our first cruise and from leaving home we did not have any problems at both Machester and Palma airports the check in was very quick and also on reaching Palma the baggage was quick and once we put it on the coach the next time we saw it was in the cabin. Our favourite restaurant was The Bistro we dined there 3 nights out of the seven also the la luna once but we used the other two also and could not fault them. The cabin we had was very clean and spacious for what we used it, we went on all the tours except Tunis has we had been there before our Favorite place was Rome a bit pricey but well worth it. The activities on board where good my husband used the gym twice, I also used the spa and we had a proffessional sitting with the Photographer and the outcome was we purchased 2 pictures on canvass, thee entertainment we enjoyed also. And to say I was the one who would never go on a cruise I will be definatley booking another one The staff where realy friendly and helpful to everyone and always smileing overall my rating for this holiday is five star. Thanks for the review. We go on the 2 week cruise next Tuesday just wonder if ther were many children on board (teenagers) as our daughter is worried that she will be the only one. Which trip did you do in rome as we are looking at the £90 trip seems expensive but do you think it is woth it! Glad you had a good trip an hope mine is as good.

take the coach at the port it drops you off next to the vatican about 15 euros each then take the open top bus all around the views you can get off to see everthing then back on costs about 10 to 15 euros each well worth it dont pay for tours off the cruise ships rip off d i y dont be scared done this twice

hiya yes this is all right but its cheaper doing d.i.y.but must be back on time cause if late ship wont wait most people do get back on time but its somthing you must remember if your late you will have lot of pennies to catch ship at next port hope ive not spoilt things bye saying this have great time

that is why you get the bus and not the train they tell you the times to be back on the bus you have plenty of time d i y makes sense just dont panic and you will save pounds for next port

Each to their own on this matter. It is a lot cheaper to take public transport but I won't for the longer trips such as Rome. Yes, generally it works out all okay but even Italian trains break down! Short trips are okay DIY as you always have the back up of getting a taxi if necessary when there are public transport troubles.
