We were on a 3 night cruise to the channel islands via France. Getting on board was quite easy, but queues were building up in the shore building. I think we just got there at the right time. Cabins were just right size for two people but no more. Plently of storage space. Bathroom not as good as other cruise lines. Never saw the steward, but found the cabin dusty and found a half used bottle of conditioner with a hair attached left in the shower. Chocolate was left on pillow first afternoon and then did not see any more after that. Food generally disappointing except for the Jasmine Garden which does costs extra but worth it. Entertainment was a little dire, comedian was awful on first night. Drinks were expensive with the 18% service charge and were not good value. Staff in general were helpful and pleasant. Many stag and hen parties on board, although did not spoil the evenings. Difficult to get into the pools due to lots of families and the parties.
Excellent quiet rooms for cards and games and lots of games for children to play. Trip to Guernsey was excellent and good organisation with the tender service. getting off the ship was excellent at Southampton, best to choose tp take off your own cases, but that maybe the case for short trips. If you are going for longer it may be best to use the timed service, so staff take off your luggage. Would we go again with NCL. NO

service sometimes slow in the Grand Pacific. Did not like the breakfast menu, better in the the Blue Lagoon. The Jasmine Garden was excellent

assume would be better on a longer cruise.
Cabins2
was not as clean as it should have been. We were told it had tea and coffee making facilites but found a coffee machine that made terrible coffee. Suggest a kettle which they dont like you to bring or get free drinks from the garden cafe.

They will change the coffee maker for a kettle if you ask the steward.

thanks for that. It would have been difficult to ask the steward personally, we never saw him/her.
