MSC Cruises Reviews

Hi Jen glad you had a good cruise, we are joining Splendida in July going to Barcelona, la goulette, valletta, messina, civitaveccia are ports of call. I've read so many reviews that excursions are worth the money or time booking. did you do any of the ship arranged excusions or did you dare it on your own? any advise on what to see and do in the limited time available. Did you go to a website prior to your embarking and register yourself and meet people who were also going on that voyage? if so what was the website and I think it would be nice if you get the opportunity to chat with people especially if they have a child of similar age.
