BEAUTIFUL SHIP, ALL THE ROOMS WERE TASTEFULLY DECORATED. DEFINATE WOW FACTOR IN THE THEATRE & ZABRA BAR. LOVELY STAFF IN THE BARS & RESTAURANTS & CABIN STAFF. ENTERTAINMENT WAS POOR IF YOU DIDN'T LIKE SALSA OR OPERA YOU WHERE A BIT STUCK. AS THE SHIP WAS ITALIAN SO WAS THE MENU. THEY HAD A FEW DIFFERENT CHOICES, BUT IF YOU DIDN'T LIKE PASTA ONCE AGAIN YOU WERE A BIT STUCK. WASN'T ALLOWED MUCH TIME IN EACH PORT ONLY HALF A DAY IN KEY WEST. THERE WHERE SO MANY DIFFERENT NATIONALITIES ON THE SHIP EVERY ANNOUNCEMENT TOOK 20MINS AS THEY HAD TO GO THROUGH EVERY DIFFERENT LANGUAGE. IT WAS LIKE BEING AT THE EUROVISION. A GAME OF BINGO COULD TAKE ALL DAY!

We were on the Poesia in December 2011, not sure if the writter of the review went to all the shows, they were great full of variety, have to agree about the staff especially in the bars they were 1st class and you always got some nibbles with your drink, never had this on any other cruise.

Unless things have changed since I was last on MSC,( last year) and the MSC menus were published on this site at the weekend then the main dining room offers 7 courses for both lunch and dinner and one of those courses is alweays a choice of pastas. There is no pasta on the other 6 courses. The entertainment on the 2 MSC cruises I have been on was excellent with a wide range of cirque du soleil type acts in the theatre and an excellent variety of music around the ship
