I have just enjoyed my 4th MSC Cruise. My husband and I consider MSC provides good value for money, the Poesia is a well appointed ship, though perhaps with too many areas where smoking is permitted. The food is something which divides passengers opinions, perhaps for the less well travelled a little too foreign in flavour(British taste). I believe they could improve the main course evening meal as dishes can be bland. The midnight buffets are wonderful, but at the expense of other meals. My final criticism is regarding the lifeboat drill, there is a failure to check that all passengers are present during the drill, by undertaking a name check, which from experience has happens on other ships I have cruise on.
Quality of Food2
We ate mostly in the main dining rooms, preferring it to the buffet restaurant which was noise and difficult to find a seat. we ate a wide variety of dishes.
