Pack a kettle and 2 travel mugs ~ it generally solves the problem

I fully agree that hot drinks are available at a couple of euros at the bar if you require them. You are on a continential ship not a British one if you want tea stick to P&O

Italians are mostly bemused by the British/American obsession with a constant supply of hot beverages and don't understand that being able to get a cup of tea or coffee at any time is very, very important to Brits. It's something annoying about Italian-run ships, but they tend to offer other compensations - such as excellent prices and spotlessly clean ships, I find.
