Hello, I have also spoken to Thomsons regarding refurbishment and was told it went into dry dock in November for technical maintenance only. Six of us are meant to be on the cruise to med in Sept. Very apprehensive now. Have cruised before but never seen so many negative comments about a ship as the Island Escape.

The ship was mothballed owing to lack of demand! I am afraid Thomson are apparently looking at ridding themselves of her! And ms Guy is right!
