We were on the Island Escape for the Christmas Carousal. We started off fine a couple of lovely sunny days, then it seemed all down hill from there. You have had many reviews about the toilet situation so I won't go that way.
We were very dissappointed by missing out 3 ports, but not having any control over the weather, we found ourselves at sea for 2 1/2 days, not nice on the Atlantic. My husband and I decided we were going to enjoy our break so joined in everything we wanted to.
We ate mainly in the Island where the food was as good as ever, but the Oasis is still wonderful.
We have been on IE 3 times previously but this was the first time we noticed how run down everything was. I supposed because we spent so much time on board.
I wrote to Thomson with our comments (I did not complain) just pointed out the problems, and they have reacted most favourably.
I may add our neighbours were on IE two weeks ago and the toilet situation has still not been resolved.
Fortunately this has not put us off cruising, and with luck we shall be on the high seas again in April.
