Enjoyed our holiday. We have just returned from a weeks cruise on Island Escape in the canaries and found it to be much better than many reviews suggest. Our inside cabin on deck 6 had no problems although it is ready for a make over like much of the ship but it was value for money at the price we paid booking 3 weeks before departure. The food was good in the Island restaraunt and the entertainment team and shows were excellent. The weather was mostly sunny so found it to be an enjoyable experience. Don't go expecting too much and then you won't be dissapointed. From a happy cruiser in North Yorkshire.

Also had a great time on this ship - we chose not to walk around with a magnifying glass and spent the whole week with a smile on our face....... and we paid close to the price mentioned above...

In fairness to Mr/s Rayner, s/he states don’t expect too much, cabin & ship ready for a refit, value for money at price paid 3 weeks pre departure and weather mostly sunny. Probably if it was £1441 for the nightmare Christmas Carousel, and amongst other things water pouring around the electrics with buckets in situ when wet, the review may not have been so generous.
Question by Leaman, Clacton on Sea (13 Feb 10 13:17) about this REVIEW
Glad you enjoyed your break. Would you have been as happy if you had paid £1441 for 14 nights? Thats what we paid and that's why we were unhappy. We paid cruise ship price for a shabby ferry boat.

Count yourself lucky you only paid £1441 for 14 nights, we paid £1700 each
