We have been on the Hurtigruten before a 6 day themed cruise in February 2008 (watercolour painting) 6 days one way half board & flights so they just send me emails with offers. With this particular cruise as soon as the offer came in got in touch with several travel agents to see if they could do better saved around £100. told friends and they also booked they also enjoyed it very much they had never been in the winter before. You can look up the internet Hurtigruten and they will send you brochures, they have a very good site. Try for a fully inclusive otherwise Food and Flights & transfers are expensive. Hope this helps

The reviews do not have any Hurtigruten names on their list so you have to pick any ship at random otherwise it will not let you put in a review, I did telephone to ask why and the young man did not know and said he would tell the powers that be, I also emailed to ask but got no response, the ship/ferry we sailed on was the Lofoten which is very small and 40 years old and a listed relic but wonderful

Thanks for the response. I've been to Norway several times so appreciate the splendours the country has to offer, but I've yet to do the coastal trip with the numerous ports of call involved. I've been looking at the possibility of a spring or autumn round trip, and wasn't seeing the "Zenith" mentioned anywhere on the Hurtigruten site. Now I know why! Regards........Mike.

Me too, Judith. Friends of our did this trip a while ago and raved about it. My husband is desperate to do it in the winter but like you, I'm tied to school holidays. I've got another 3 years to retirement, though! Thank you Mr/Mrs MacLeod for your review. Angela
