We travelled on the HAL Ryndam and what a wondeful holiday my husband and myself had. The only down side was one port of call Tobompondo the crusie ship was docked for approx 18 hours so fellow passengers could visit the Copper Canyon Mexico's Grand Canyon. This port was just pure squallor sorry but it was. The rest of the cruise was lovely. For whale watching we would recommend in Cabo San Lucas on the peir taking the catamarran which can be booked on the day salings were 10am / 12pm/ 2.30pm and cost just $60 for 2 people do not take the small boats especially in chopping seas.
The ryndam even though small was very comfortable, the staff were very attentive but not in your face.
