Cruise through Carribean was well organised, staff courteous and obviously well trained. Excellent food - even Champaign with breakfast if you wanted it? Ship comfortable but need to look at timing of evening shows as First Seating finishers were clashing with Second Sitting passengers who were still occupying show lounges. Too large a time overlap caused seating difficulties. Would certainly use this cruise line again.
Quality of Food5
Choice and quality excellent. Waiting staff most helpful.
Entertainment3
See note re seating?
Shore Excursions3
Staff4
Waiting staff in restaurants were excellent.
Children's Facilitiesn/a
Onboard Activities3
Bridge playing sessions well organised but lighting in bridge room needs to be improved.
Cabins1
We were allocated a Superior Outside which was very basic, but useable. We saw the interior of another cabin of this grade a few cabins along from ours and it was vast superior in fittings, decor and accesability. Subsequently complained to Cruise Line, they apologised as the better cabins appeared to be in section of the vessel which had been renewed? Why charge same for each?

We had vast superior cabin on Braemar but seeing the new superior cabins on the same deck, there was no comparison ,the new ones were far better, they were in the new section of the ship. Will say though that the old cabins on the lower decks are far better than the new ones, in our opinion. The new cabins on the lower decks are ,as my wife says ,designed by a man!!!! Small dressing table taken uo entirely by the hospitality tray , lack of draw space no useful shelving or cupboard space in the shower room. Having said all that we are going on our 14th cruise with Fred in September.

In my experience it is the people from First sitting who cause problems in the Neptune lounge on cocktail party evenings.. They queue despite notices telling them that the Neptune will be closed until 8.30. There are also those from first sitting who go to the second sitting cocktail party to make sure they get a seat, thus making it difficult for those who ought to be there.

No complaint re size of cabin, only comparative facilities, decor, lighting, etc. Complained to uk Cruise line offices upon return to uk who investigated and dealt with the matter in a competent, positive adult manner, thereafter issuing an apology. Was impressed by the manner my complaint was handled.

Suprised to hear your comment about the cabin size....we were also on a Superior outside (8007) and it was the largest cabin we had ever been in. It must be double the size of a superior outside on Braemar, which we have also been in and it was tiny. But we know each Fred ship is different do it doesn't spoil anything or us. Best wishes
