Disappointing to say the least. I have never known the Lido to be closed down and we have been on Queen Victoria 3 times. The 2nd time was the Cruise christened, The Curse of Camilla when again the Norovirus hit passengers. We do not want Silver Service for Breakfast or Lunch-Time as we prefer to dine in The Lido. The only other alternative was room service which on 3 mornings we opted for. Despite the pressure on Room Service Staff the service was very good and punctual. I find the water for drinks is not too hot and makes a lousey cup of tea or coffee and must say one drinks steward only with queues of up to 20 passengers was frustrating. They should have provided at least 4 members of Crew.

It would be good to know how many fellow passengers became ill as numbers fluctuated depending on who you spoke to. I feel for the passengers who adopt high Hygene values and spent many days in their staterooms and had to eat in there.

Some passengers still ignore to wash their hands usafter visiting the bathroom and avoid the Sanatisation provided. Crew do their best, but some passengers are stubborn.

Entertainment well that too very poor and room for significant improvement. The 4 young ladies string quartet were delightful and entertaining. Very popular.

Britannia Restaurant in the evening very good food and in our case excellent service two waiters who knew their jobs, always helpful. Thank you too Maitre'd from Mumbai. Excellent manners and politeness. All 3 with attention to detail.

We are Cunarders have been for several years and will continue to be and put this disappointment behind us.

Balcony Stateroom wonderful. Spotlessly clean and tidy each day. Stateroom Steward outstanding.

Good to note you guys are cunarders and sorry to read you had unpleasant time. It is sad fact, no ship, no matter what is imune from this disease. I do believe Cunard, does its best. Always recall years ago chatting to the great Jimmy Saville, who loved QE2, who told me, the way to judge good cruise lines , is not to when all goes well, but when disaster strikes, then, how they deal with that. Cunard, make life that wee bit easier when all else fails. Ok it may not please all, but ask youreself this, would you rather fall ill on cunard or easycruise, just by way of example!! Always remember, you get what you pay for, the only difference is how that is served up!! Agree with you 100%, regarding entertainment. Can\'t understand, how our premier uk cruise line can serve up such drivell, especially, when, you campare it to the lectures. They seem to be able to get top class acts there. You\'d think most entertainers would love to perform on Cunard. Something not quite right there, time for Cunard to get that sorted. Hope you are able to enjoy another cunard cruise soon.
