Outstanding Queen Mary 2 We have just returned from the first leg of the World Cruise on QM2, she is truly a lovely ship, and we have only praise for the way we were treated onboard. The embarkation was very simple, our cabins were very adequate (shower larger than usual) the service was exemplary and all I can say is thank to all on the ship. Unfortunately my husband suffered a mild heart attack on the 6th day out, and the medical staff were absolutely fantastic, ( any good private hospital in UK would be proud to have staff like that), The hospital unit is fantastic with every facility available. They have a high dependency unit and my husband had A1 attention, Dr Bagley was outstanding in his attention and so was Alan, we cannot thank them enough for their kindness and care. Also we should like to say how wonderful all the nurses were, we shall never forget all the medical staff for their help in our hour of need. The cruise was wonderful apart from our set back, the food was just amazing we had kosher food, and it was just fantastic and beautifully presented at all times. The Captain was very informative, the officers and staff were charming at all times. The entertainment could have been a little more interesting, the talks were excellent, the Neptune ceremony crossing the equator was great fun. Our steward was very helpful and all in all we can say it was a wonderful cruising experience, and we shall certainly be returning to the Queen Mary 2 very soon. Thank you to CUNARD once again.

Yes there were plenty of activities onboard if you wanted to join in, we chose not to, as we are very lazy on holiday and do a lot of reading, scrabble etc.,
