We have just returned from a cruise on Queen Mary 2 Southampton to Dubai,this being the second section of the world cruise.We had an inside stateroom on deck 5, grade D5, which was of a very good standard.This was our first trip on this ship,although we have travelled with Cunard before.We were very well looked after by our stateroom steward and all other members of staff.We dined in the Britannia Restaurant this being a pleasurable experience with so many quality dishes to tempt our taste buds.The various evening entertainment was of the calibre of a top London show.During the day we prefer to sit outside if the weather is OK and Queen Mary has plenty of room to find sun beds around the ship.We always take organized trips at ports of call and the stop at Safaga where we travelled to see The Valley of the Kings although a very long day 14 hours was a once in a lifetime experience.Cunard has never let us down, this being our tenth cruise with the company. We have travelled on Queen Victoria and QE2 and in general we prefer the smaller size ships. For those who prefer the quality of service style and comfort Queen Mary 2 has it all.
