We sailed on the Costa Fortuna from Venice in June 2010, on a 7 night cruise around the greek islands. Check-in at Venice was fast and efficient, we were on the ship within 50 mins of arriving at the terminal. Our cabin was a balcony cabin on deck 10 it was a decent size with plenty storage, nice practical bathroom with one of the best showers Ive ever had on a cruise ship. The cabin was spotlessly clean and we had one of the best stewards we have ever had. The food in in the resturant was good with a good choice and apart from on one occassion, was always piping hot, our waiters were friendly, fast and very efficient. The food in the buffet which we always used for lunch and breakfast was always plenty of choice and hot although at peak times it could be difficullt to get a seat, so the trick was avoid the peak times ! The entertainment staff were very good and worked hard to include all the nationalities on board, the shows in the main theatre were ok, nothing exceptional but this is not unusual for any cruise ship really. I was worried after reading reviews about having problems with long waits for getting off the ship in ports, but Im happy to say we had no long waits to get off the ship anywhere. The bar staff were very attentive and efficient and there was no long waits for service even when any particular venue was busy, and a nice touch was nibbles were provided every time you bought a fresh drink which is something many of the other cruise lines no longer do. Im also disabled and it was so nice not to have to keep going asking for help if i needed it, the crew seemed to be very observant and they were offering help before Id even thought to go and ask for it ! The only negative and it in all fairness isnt Costas fault is the rude italians (please note they are not all rude) have a habit of shouting over you and pushing you out of the way if they see a que forming. All in all I cant rate the Costa Fortuna, her hardworking crew and costa themselves highly enough. For once there really want anything to moan about !

| Quality of Food | |
| Main resturant | | Entertainment | |
| One acrobatic show was really fantastic rest of the time singers and dancers were ok. | | Shore Excursions | n/a |
| We did our own thing ashore, it doesnt matter which cruise company it is ship organised excursions are always in my opinion too over-priced. | | Staff | |
| I honestly cant fault any of the staff at all. | | Children's Facilities | n/a |
| | Onboard Activities | |
| Plenty of on-board activities. | | Cabins | |
