The flight I was dreading, being a disabled solo traveler turned out great. BA staff, as far as I'm concerned, were the best, they helped me all the way beginning to end of flight, handing me over to costa staff for coach transfer to Santos. It was 61/2 hours because, 1st we were taken though. Sau Paula sight seeing. Than to the business centre. For breakfast followed by a journey up a mountain and down to santo port,to the ship. Was wheeled on board quickly with no problems. I found the ship welcoming. I did find all the darkness of the colours a little gloomy. The food was what I expected being an international ship.cabin was very well presented, well lite,airy and roomy, with plenty of storage space, a large unopening window. Bed was big,as it was made up of 2x3ft beds pushed to gether.
98%of the staff were brilliant, friendly and helpful. My 1st issue, was with my cabin maid, she was if anything, undertrained, I had to ring housekeeping to get the cabin dusted, as there was a thick layer of dust, I have asthma which gets irritated by dust.I also had to ask for the shower cauitan to be changed as it was filthy, all stuck to gether at the bottom with yuck. The mirror in the wardrobe was covered in marks that you couldn't see into it properly, the floor looked like it hasn't seen a hoover in weeks. 2 days into my cruise I returned to my cabin 12:30am,to find my cabin door open. Didn't seam to be anything missing, ring the service desk to report it.3 days before departure a questionnaire was left in my cabin, I had partly filled it in before retiring to bed, I placed it in a pile of my personal papers, to finish the next eveing. But it had dissappeared, I had already filled in about room service, and had put it as very poor. I went to the server desk and told them what had happened, they said they would speak with the maid. On the day of dembarkment went to service desk again, they said they had spoken with the maid, who denied knowing anything about it. They wouldn't give me another questionnaire, as they said they were printed one per guests. My mini bar dissappeared from my cabin.I wasn't charged for it at the end.
Would have like more verification in vegetables, you could get water,ice,tea and coffee, 24-7 in the buffet,esle were you had to pay.which you did for other things, like films on tv,4d cinema ect. There was always something going on that you could join in with, cards,dance, crafts,quizzes, or aplace to hide away and read.
I enjoyed the theatre entrainment there was some very good acts.
I went on this cruise, because of the itinerary, the price was right for me as a solo traveller, the big question, would I do it again? Yes,if the price was right and it was were i wanted to go.

We were also on this cruise. Must say we experienced none of these problems. Suite was immaculate at all times. Room service excellent. Found all staff eager to please. Sea days were relaxing although after three weeks found the "you have the magic powers" a little grating. Found the food very good in the main, although I thought it became a little repetative the last few days. Only real downside for me was the fact that no shuttle bus in Casablanca. Found the distanace horrendous. Disappointed we were unable to land in Fortaleza but safety first so can't really complain. Would I go again? Yes in a heartbeat. Excellent cruise, excellent value.
