My 16th cruise turned out to be the best quality ever. We've cruised P&O, Cunard, Royal Carribean, Star and others, but Celebrity is definitely the tops! The service was impeccable, food delicious, and the shows were magnificent. We are very careful with our cabin selection, and the balcony at the stern turned out to be ideal once again. HUGE balcony with two sets of furniture and views to die for when pulling out of Acapulco. We also don't leave the excursions to chance and analyse every word of the descriptions - all in all, the best quality cruise we've had despite the ship looking a little old fashioned compared with the all-glass, all-glitz Royal Carribbean range. In fact, the cruise was so good, we sent my parents on the same ship, same cruise, same cabin last November - also seasoned cruisers, they agreed the best yet! Only downside for us was the older age range of the passengers - we made the mistake of taking a long (14 day) cruise not at a usual holiday period so the average age was about 80!. As a couple in our late 30's & early 40's, we found the bars deserted very early and the disco non-existent! We travelled from Australia and would definitely go Celebrity again. Panama Canal was awesome.
