This was our second cruise with Celebrity and once again our experience was amazing. The highlight definitely being sailing through the Panama Canal, we were up at 5.30am so we could experience the whole day.

We ate every night in the main restaurant apart from a birthday celebration in the Normandy which has a $30 surcharge but is a fantastic experience. The food was superb with a good choice and fantastic staff, Yusef and Wyan were our main waiters and could not do enough for us.

on board activities were plentiful and varied from cocktail demonstrations to fruit carving (ok maybe a bit kitch but I loved it).

The entertainment every night was excellent some better than others but on a 14 day cruise the variety was great, the last night show (songs from the shows) actually rivalled some of the West End productions especially Les Miserables.

Initially I was wary of the gratuity system $10.50 per day per person so on a 14 day cruise equated to aprox £150 but at the end we were happy to leave more, our stateroom attendant was superb and room service excellent.

The shore trips were many and varied but a tad expensive, the more adventurous could go ashore and do the same trip at a fraction of the price with local firms but I prefer the security of an organised trip, the highlight of which was a trip the the waterfalls of La Paz stopping on the way back for lunch in a typical Costa Rican restaurant (I think)

One negative was disembarkation at Fort Lauderdale, there is a system to get you off the ship in sequence so you are given a time slot, for some reason we were 90 minutes late disembarking but I certainly wouldn't let it bother me.
Quality of Food5
We had buffet style breakfast, and ate in the main restaurant at night, the midnight chocolate buffet was one indulgence too far!!!
Entertainment4
Great production shows, I recall one entertainer a sleight of hand act that was lost in the huge theatre.
Shore Excursions4
no complaints apart from price.
Staff5
Yusef from Turkey (I am still in touch) Wyan our waiter and our drinks waiter (rum runners with extra rum)
Children's Facilitiesn/a
Onboard Activities5
Cabins5
we always have a balcony, slight problem with discoloured water in the bathroom which was quickly rectified.

DOES anyone agree with me that sometimes i think it can depend on your cabin as to the enjoyment of your cruise. Ialways like to have a suite because it gives us more space,i have cruised twice before and we are going on our third one next april. My daughter has cruised around 16 times and thinks celebrity is a plus {she has sample meny cruis lines
