Having cruised with Celebrity before on the Millenium\'s sister ships: Summit & Infinity, we were looking forward to this trip. We were not disappointed. Celebrity staff were fantastic as usual & we liked the ship\'s decor more than the Summit (Grand Foyer on Summit is far too dark with browns & bronzes). We had a balcony cabin for the first time & we were surprised to find that it was one of only a few with a double sized balcony - we even had a fellow passenger stop us as we were coming out of our stateroom and ask us if our cabin was bigger because the balcony was bigger than his. He had a cabin on the deck above ours & he\'d seen the three larger balconies & thought the cabins must have been bigger as well, not so though. The food in the main dining room was excellent as usual. We had a brilliant waiter called Buddie with Franklin assisting him. Our Maitre D\' was very friendly & attentive, which in all the cruises we\'ve done is not something that has happened often - usually they\'ve just come around once or twice to justify their tip. I\'d say my only disappointment was with the shows: the guest entertainers were excellent (Pearl Kauffman - concert pianist who played on a lot of well known movies & Diane Cousins - singer & comedienne from Wales) but as for the celebrity singers & dancers: they were the poorest I\'ve seen on any Celebrity ship! The night when they put together a show that showcased their talents individually was abysmal. Non of the couples at our dinner table were impressed & other people I spoke to agreed it was rubbish. My husband & myself left the theatre before they\'d finished the show as we couldn\'t stand it any longer! The other side to this was the Captain (Emmanouil Alevropoulos) who was very nice, approachable and the first Captain of any ship we\'ve been on who joined in with the entertainment team. He took part in \"The Liar\'s Club\" and was very very entertaining.
There was an outbreak of Norovirus which approx. 60 passengers contracted (no figures for crew but obviously quite a lot were affected - obvious by the diminishing staff in the dining room & elsewhere) but an exceptionally thorough cleaning/sanatising regime was started a.s.a.p which quickly seemed to confine the problem without too much disruption to the other passengers. Other than this we had a brilliant time & met some wonderful people.

Pearl Kauffman was the best. Celebrity singers & dancers the worst

Only went on one: The Atlantis Submarine in Aruba - although good the Submarine Safari we did in Tenerife last October was much better.
