Had a wonderful cruise as excellent Cruise Director and also on board expert speakers to discuss wild life and the wonderful scenery. We were blessed with the weather as was told it often rains in Alaska. It was odd being by icebergs in shorts and sunshine but beautiful.
The food was first rate but we had a poor small table right by the serving place downstairs and very claustrophic but we had a nice pair of Canadians on our table so didn't want to upset them by moving.
My only comments are that the excursions were very expensive and so was water in the cabin plus drinks around the ship and we seemed to be constantly pestered to buy drinks which as a non drinker I found annoying.
Quality of Food5
Food was first rate.
Entertainment5
Excellent shows and theatre plus MC
Shore Excursions1
All the excursions were too expensive so we tended to do our own thing on shore as many trips available there.
Staff4
The cruise director as he made such an effort to please. The cabin and table steward were the same but I was annoyed by the constant pestering by rather threatening looking male drinks staff who were always on about buying drinks. Sometimes in the cafe 6 people would pester you in about 15 mins when all we wanted was the ships free water as we are non drinkers. Mind you it must be an alchohics paradise as they offer drinks all day even at breakfast, Very dangerous in my view.
Children's Facilitiesn/a
These seemed very run
Onboard Activities2
There were the usual ships activities but too much USA bingo and art sales for my liking.
Cabins4
The outside cabin was large and bright.
