We cruised on the Celebrity Silhouette from 5th-17th January, although cruising from bayonne in early January is cold, we still managed to have a brilliant time, sometimes I think the people you meet can make or break your holiday. We meet some awesome people and I found that everyone was ultra friendly including most of the staff.
>>>Our balcony cabin was kept very clean and the extra touches from being concierge was very welcome, from the flowers in our cabin and bathroom to the daily cheese and biscuits at 5pm.
>>> The food was good, however I think it was not quite as good as the Solstice last year. We ate several times in the Tuscan grill and the food was awesome. ( we did not pre book and found several times it was buy 1 get 1 free) also has a night up on the lawn club, although we had a good time I thought the service was very slow, probably could have done with more staff up there.
>>> All public areas are kept spotlessly clean, and the ship is quite beautiful.
>>> we had the drinks package and it worked well for us, as the drinks can be quite expensive, dont miss the martini bar the staff up there are superb. also the molecular bar serve very interesting cocktails at 12 dollars each + 15%, so if you are liking these the drinks packages is the way to go.
>>>We have been to most of the islands before therfore didnt really do any excursions, however we have never been to Labadee before and I thought it was fabulous, all your food and if you have the drinks package all of your drinks are included it really is pretty, and it was very hot whe we were there.
>>>We watched a couple of shows and they were good, although not sure the singer was very good, excellent dancing though.
>>>Prices in the shops were very good, and no tax haha!!!!
>>>All in all Celebrity is an excellent cruise line and cant wait to bard the solstice again in August x

i FOUND THE CABIN ADEQUATE, ALTHOUGH SHORT ON DRAW SPACE, MASSIVE COMFY BED AND FAB PILLOWS.
