With just one cruise under our belts we decided to 'push the boat' out and go for a Caribbean cruise with Celebrity. The Western Caribbean itinerary appealed to us as something 'a bit different' - and we were right it was. I'd read all the reviews about the Equinox but none of the superlatives were enough. We really couldn't fault it. It was so elegant and peaceful. No loud announcements and just laid back gentle music during the day. In the evening, there were so many live groups playing in the public areas that we were spoilt for choice. Staff were lovely. Friendly and chatty but not overly so. Service was superb. with the exception of Murano's, which I found a little 'over the top'. We enjoyed Celebrity so much we have already booked again for the Caribbean next year.

We might have been on the same cruise Tomlinson. We sailed on 23rd January! I love the Western Caribbean - ok maybe not as pretty as the Eastern side but I love the earthiness of it. I love Celebrity and will definitely be sailing with them again. Can't agree more with your comments about "elegant and peaceful. No loud announcements and just laid back gentle music during the day. In the evening, there were so many live groups playing in the public areas that we were spoilt for choice." My favourite hang on deck was out was right at the right of deck 14 near the basketball court or up on deck 15 (Solstice Deck) - right out of the way... also loved hiding away in Cafe al Bacio...
