First time with Celebrity and it really does live up to its 5 star reputation. Embarkation a breeze at Fort Lauderdale (and the same leaving - just 10 minutes !). This is a cruise for a very mature audience, we only saw 3 children on the entire cruise but this suited us well. The Concierege class cabin was very good and comfortable and as with all the staff, nothing was too much trouble. And the food - wow ! The first night we went to the buffet and found only 10 people there - everyone else was in the dining room and having been there on day 2 we can understand why - simply superb cuisine with a a la carte menu and classic every night. The dining room never felt cramped (even though the ship was full) and the service outstanding. This ship is a foodies delight, and what quality ! On Formal night my partner and myself wore our Tuxedos but discovered we were in fact in a minority as most of the fellow American passengers wore suits - a lesson learnt !
The ship is beautifully appointed and very classy, but as stated earlier never felt overcrowded and all events were well organised. We went mainly to relax but throughly enjoyed our Barbados trip to see the Concorde. This was accompanied by a wonderful journey through Barbados with an excellent tour guide and even a stop at a traditional Rum house.
We will definitely travel Celebrity again and we are also very impressed with the service when booking our holiday with Simon at Cruise.co.uk .

Both the Restaurant and Buffet were simply superb! We found no need to book the extra special dining as the food and service were wonderful.

Hi We flew Business with Aer Lingus as we stayed a couple of nights in Disney before the Cruise, and a night before leaving on the way back. We used Aer Lingus as the price was very competitive and you get to clear customs in Dublin, saving a lot of time. The down side is flying from Birmingham to Dublin is a pain (even though its a short flight) and when landing in Dublin from Orlando, you have a long wait before the Birmingham flight. Aer Lingus have now increased their prices so we will now look at Virgin and BA in the future whose Business class is better quality.
