Celebrity Cruises - Celebrity Equinox
Celebrity Equinox
Celebrity Cruises consistently presents the highest-class of megaships in the cruise business. Their Solstice-class ships are truly remarkable and encapsulate all that was wonderful about their older vessels while becoming more stylistic for the future.
The Celebrity Equinox - a Solstice-class ship, is one of the largest and most sophisticated in the Celebrity Cruises fleet. This beautiful megaship is sure to please all aboard.
Passenger capacity: 2,850 Year entered service: 2008 Beam (ship width): 121 feet Draught (ship depth): 20 feet Length: 1,033 Tonnage: 122,000 Crew: 1,253 Number of passenger decks: 10 Number of cabins: 1,425
Food, Cuisine & Dining
Celebrity Cruises boasts award-winning cuisine. The Celebrity Equinox is no exception. World-renowned chefs prepare culinary delights made from scratch using only the finest, fresh ingredients. Offering a grand main restaurant, a buffet, four specialty restaurants, and three light and casual eateries, any palate is sure to be tantalized.
Onboard entertainment & activities
You will find unlimited opportunities to indulge your interests. There are upscale boutiques to discover unique treasures. An on board auction will give you an opportunity to collect fine pieces of art. Enjoy yourself at the Lawn Club, a half-acre of real grass above the sea. Play croquet, golf putting and other lawn games. Enjoy a picnic or simply take a barefoot stroll.
The innovative Main Theater seats 1,115 guests. Another multifunction venue seating 200 guests is the Celebrity Central, presenting late-night comedy shows, films, and other shows and events. Artisans from the Corning Museum of Glass present the Hot Glass Show demonstrating the art of glass making. Or relax in the tranquil solarium with a lap pool and overhead solar panels.
Celebrity Equinox is sure to keep you moving day and night if you love to stay active. Regardless of your skill level, you will find fun competitions and challenges. Maybe a themed dance party is something you’d enjoy. Relax in one of the bars or lounges. Whatever your energy level, your vacation experience is sure to be filled with exciting activities.
A daily program “Celebrity Today” is delivered nightly to serve as your map to a treasure of activities taking place daily.
Spa & Fitness facilities
The Celebrity Equinox fitness center/gyms are large and extremely well equipped. Two swimming pools are available, one for “sports” and the other for “families” in addition to large, relaxing hot tubs.
Let the Celebrity Equinox transport you to a whole new world with treatments inspired by rituals from exotic cultures in the world-famous AquaSpa. Pamper yourself with a luxurious massage, facial, manicure or other services to leave you feeling renewed and revived.
Another option is to book an Aquaclass cabin where you will receive unlimited access to the Aquaspa, Persian Garden and exclusive dining at the Blu Specialty restaurant.
Cabins
The cabins on the Equinox are 15% larger than Celebrity Cruises older ships. You will also find that the cabin restroom and showers are substantially larger and roomier than most other megaships.
