i booked this cruise for my wifes birthday, we had a 2 week stay in Florida and decided to book a cruise. The cruise we booked before we travelled out to the US was really very cheap. I was actually a little worried at how cheap it seemed to be and what lay in store. I should'nt have worried i was sensational. We boarded at cape caneveral after 2 days in Cocoa beach. We had only booked the car hire for the days we had it and when we were cruising we took it back to the rental company and were not charged (good money saving). We had been on a celebrity cruise before hand and knew roughly what to expect. The carnival cruise is a lot more relaxing, the ship isn't brand new but is kept in great condition. All the staff were excellent, our room attendant did go that extra mile for us which was really nice. The food was really nice too, from the burgers at lunch to the lobster at night. The atmosphere on the ship was amazing and on one of the day trips it rained from the minute we left the ship, after 1 hr walking around getting soaked we decided to hit the bar. Seems everyone on board had the same idea as the 4 bars at the cross roads were full of people from the ship. After that everyone seemed to get along great on the ship. The carnival is more relaxed than any other cruise i have been on everyone was really friendly the staff seemed to make you feel at ease and made sure you were comfortable and safe. overall a great cruise and would give it the thumbs up.
