We got off to a poor start because the airline lost half our luggage but by some miracle they found it before we sailed the following day from Miami. The overnight hotel in Miami was excellent and when we arrived on board the Victory we were impressed by the stunning public rooms. Our cabin although an inside one was spacious and kept immaculate by our very obliging steward. The service throughout the ship was excellent. The food was very high quality and most plentiful. The entertainment on board was good and the Master of Ceremonies (Cruise Director) was truly remarkable. Our only complaint was that the sun lounges, in the pool area, were reserved from early morning until late at night and in spite of notices forbidding this practice no staff appeared willing to curb this behaviour. Apart from this niggle we enjoyed the cruise enormously. We took no formal excursions preferring to engage local taxi drivers for our sight seeing.
