We were on Azamara Quest August 2009, visiting E Med and the Black Sea. Overall an excellent itinerary, visiting Pompeii, Ephesus, Santorini, Istanbul, Yalta and more. Well organised trips, if a bit expensive. Fellow passengers, mostly American, all eager to learn more about the very interesting ports of call. On board the cabin was a good size and very comfortable. Food (open dining which we now prefer) was excellent. Had the best steak I have ever eaten in one of the speciality restaurants on board. Drinks were quite expensive although, now, wine is included. The ship is well appointed and feels intimate while having a luxury feel. Lectures and entertainment were about average--magician, comedian, musicians on various strange instruments , psychologist with clever tips on much needed dieting etc. A very friendly ship, all the crew seemed happy in their work and made a point of speaking to the guests. A very personable Captain , with his wife and scene stealing young son on board, set the tone for the cruise. A quality cruise experience and good value.
