Azamara Quest from Athens to Civitavecchia via Chios, Istanbul, Kusadasi, Alexandria, Port Said, Ashod, Haifa, Limassol and Sorrento. Ship, staff and food very good. Onshore administration poor. This was our second cruise with Azamara and on the first cruise we elected to have our onboard expenditure charge in USD rather than them making a large percentage for conversion to GBP. They ignored this and charged us in GBP anyway and it took sometime to get compensation. This second cruise they did it again and overcharged us as well. Even though they accepted their errors they refused to correct their misakes via my credit card. I had to get my credit card company to grab the money off them. They included Chios on the itinerary because one of the company's founders was born there. Not a good idea - there are much better greek islands to visit. We had 15 hours in Alexandria but only 12 in Port Said. This meant that only very short trips to Cairo (2 hours each way) were available from Port Said. So most people went to Cairo from Alexandria and stayed near the ship in Port Said. This was not a good idea as Port Said is awful whereas Alexandria is definitely worth a visit. An overnight stop in Alexandria would have been much better. Therefore only 2 out of 10 for onshore organisation. However, we would definitely sail with them again but only after spending more time scrutinising the itinerary and reading them the "riot act" over paying for onboard expenditure.

| Butler - I broke a cork screw in a wine bottle and left it unopened on the table. Whilst we were out he tried to remedy the situation but broke the neck of the glass bottle - so he got us another bottle for us. | | Children's Facilities | |
