Description of your album: When the Captain at his cocktail party said that this port was not the prettiest port - he was right !! However it does provide an opportunity to go to Luxor ( about 4 hours max) and to Hurghada (about 1 hour max) etc and even Scuba Diving trips from about 20 minutes away. Or just relax on the ship. The entrance at Safaga port rather sums up the state of this port !! 1st Dec 2009.	Safaga port - the exit sign - I am a visitor ... get me out of here !!!! - 1st Dec 2009.	Safaga port - the port used for the excursions to Luxor Karnak Temple and The Valley of the Kings.The laternative is to relax on the ship or take one of the other Thomson excursion offers.
