Holland America Reveals Four Grand Voyage Cruises for 2010![]() Holland America has now revealed its 2010 Grand Voyage itineraries – where cruisers can choose either the full 114-day Grand World Voyage or cruises ranging from 51 to 70 days. “The Grand Voyage itineraries for 2010 are among the most exciting ever offered,” said Richard D. Meadows, CTC, executive vice president, marketing, sales and guest programmes, Holland America Line. “Regardless of whether guests wish to cruise a 114-day Grand World Voyage or one of our 51 or 70 day Grand Voyages, Holland America offers the best value for extended travel to the world’s most captivating and heralded countries in the world.” - The full 114-day trip features twelve overnight ports of call on Ms Amsterdam – departing on 6th January from Fort Lauderdale, eastbound. Firstly, Amsterdam moves west along the Panama Canal and down the coast of South America, before exploring Antartica. Ms Amsterdam will then cross the Atlantic to Africa and round the tip of the continent to the Indian Ocean – to Asia and Canada en route to LA. - Ms Prisendam will sail two back-to-back Grand Voyages in 2010 – firstly on 13th January from Fort Lauderdale on a seventy-day Grand South America and Antartica cruise. The cruise spends seven days exploring the Amazon River and three days in Antarctica. Other highlights include Machu Picchu, the Panama Canal, Chile, Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires and Peru. - Ms Prisendam is offering an exploration of Europe from Fort Lauderdale on 24th March – a fifty-four day round trip cruise to the Med and Black Sea. It calls at more than ten countries including Spain, France, Italy, Malta, Portugal, Russia, Greece and Turkey. - Ms Amsterdam departs from Seattle on 24th September on a sixty-nine day cruise on a westward route to Asia. Ports include Tokyo, Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Bangkok and Kampong Saom in Cambodia. Ms Amsterdam then continues on to Darwin, Australia, the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef – spending three days at the world’s largest coral reef system. |
