Brand New Advertising Campaign From RCI!

Royal Caribbean has now declared itself as The Nation of Why Not – in the first integrated advertising campaign for the line in almost a decade. The campaign even includes a social-networking site; www.nationofwhynot.com and will start with two television adverts from today on ABC and NBC networks. Printed advertisements will launch in forty North American newspapers on 16th November 2008. The ‘citizens’ of this new ‘nation’ includes those from cruise guests to travel agents – shore-side staff to builders and together, they will bring together the ‘anything is possible’ mindset on Royal Caribbean International Cruises.

The Nation of Why Not is a place where innovation and imagination rule supreme,” said Adam Goldstein, President and CEO, Royal Caribbean International. “The founding of The Nation of Why Not is not a revolution, but an evolution of Royal Caribbean’s legacy of presenting guests with a variety of unexpected possibilities onboard, such as rock-climbing walls, ice-skating rinks, and surf simulators, which have always prompted the idea of ‘why not?’”
