How this score is createdThe Seven Continents Dining Room is a reasonably comfortable room, and is operated in two seatings (note that there are few tables for two, most being for four, six or eight). The cuisine (upgraded from previous Voyages of Discovery ships) includes many classic favorites, and the presentation and service are good. The wine list is adequate, and prices are reasonable, although the selection is small and consists mostly of younger wines. Casual breakfasts and lunches can be taken in the Yacht Club (an observation lounge), with fine ocean views on three sides or outdoors on the Lido Deck, adjacent to the swimming pool.
Alternative (Reservations Only) Dining Option: Alternative dinners can also be taken in the Yacht Club, with its observation lounge views on three sides, adjacent to the Lido; Continental and Italian specialties are featured, and there is no cover charge. A late-riser’s breakfast is always popular; you can also opt for Continental Breakfast to be served in your cabin if you wish. All dining areas are non-smoking.
