Offering inspirational voyages across the seas and a completely unique cruising experience. As you set sail on your magnificent tall ship sailing journey, you’ll be able to experience life on the oceans like never before.
Clearly, a Star Clippers cruise is not your ordinary cruise ship; in fact it’s far from it. On a Star Clippers cruise, there are no strict schedules; guests are free to do as they wish with their time. Every day, your ship’s Captain will give a daily briefing on deck, which is always informative, light hearted and gives you the chance to hear some great anecdotes.
The dining on a Star Clippers cruise is simply divine. Inspired chefs created an array of sensational cuisine from all corners of the earth. Sample the local delicacies and relax, unwind and sit with whoever you wish in the informal dining facilities.
For breakfast, enjoy a delightful array of continental treats. From fresh buttered croissants to toasted English muffins with a multitude of delicious Danish pastries to try. Alternatively, tuck into a full English breakfast, cooked fresh every day. At lunchtime, devour the incredible buffet with delicious seafood, salad and grilled meat.
In the evening, watch the ship’s experienced and entertaining chefs cook your lavish meal before your very eyes with fabulous culinary presentations. Unlike most cruise ships; Star Clippers officers often join guests for evening meals. And there’s no need to worry about forgetting your formal gown or bow tie - the dress code is ‘casual elegance’.

Star Clippers History
Swedish-born yachtsman Mikhail Krafft founded Star Clippers in 1991 with Star Flyer and then Star Clipper, both true tall ships. The company went on to build the largest tall ship presently sailing, the five-mast Royal Clipper. It is now building an even bigger sailing ship. Good food and friendly service in a casual, laid-back setting, under the romance of sail (when there is enough wind), is what Star Clippers is all about - but the variety of food and its quality are extremely good.

Clearly our experience
was different to that of
Gilbert, Appleby Magna.
For this holiday we
travelled to Costa Rica
on a package, with all
flights, transfers and
pre- and post-cruise
accommodation included.
This was unusual, since

We have never been on a
cruise, and never fancied
the big boats, but we did
want to do the clipper
thing! If you like
boutique hotels, this is
an experience not to be
missed, its not
contemorary chic, but it
is considerably smaller
and personal than any...
This was not like any
other cruise I have been
on, it was almost like
being on a Mega private
yacht, as passengers not
only could assist with
the hoisting of the
sails, they could climb
the mast, when at anchor
the sailing dinghies,
zodiacs and "toys"...
Our cruise on the Star
Flyer had been
recommended as a must do.
So we did a
repositioning cruise from
Panama Canal to St
Maarten. This cruise
was to fulfill two points
on our to do list.
Hence the Panama canal
which was our first full
day on board...

Where do I start? I
booked this as a reward
to myself for finishing
my BA Hons in Business
degree. I have always
wanted to sail on a tall

perfect opportunity to
spend money! I was on my

Ours was a
birthday/wedding
anniversary cruise on the
Star Clipper, preceded by
a week at the Evason Six
Senses Spa in Phuket
where we sailed from en
route to Singapore via
Malacca and Penang on a
7-day cruise...
The ship appeared fine,
the staff were charming,
the cabin a little small,
but then you get what you
pay for.
A very nice introduction
to the boat then it
began:
The music, the atmosphere
the palpable sense of
adventure as the crew
began to haul the sails...
We had a wonderful
holiday on the Star
Clipper in August. We
had a 7 night itinerary
sailing from Athens - we
had a sea day, followed
by Bodrum in Turkey, the
Dalyan River in Turkey
(which was an unexpected
highlight; we did a great
river cruise, followed...
Having cruised many times
on QE11 and Sea Goddess,
I now have standards and
service that I expect
when I take a cruise.
These criteria certainly
were met on the Royal
Clipper. Whilst the
cabins are somewhat
smaller than you would
get on a traditonal
cruise...
