If you are only enquiring about cruises with Silverseas, the following information will be of little help. However, if you are prepared to consider other options, both Saga and Fred Olsen offer 'Special Interest' cruises. Both cruise lines cater for the more mature traveller and it may be that you do not fit into this category. Fred Olsen's 'Special Interest' cruises are based on: Music, Dance, Painting, Antiques, Wildlife, photography and Gardens, there may other options. They also offer the 'Kirker at Sea' specialist music cruises. Other specialist cruises with the same company are 'Civilisations Cruises', designed to appeal to lovers of culture, history and the arts. They are accompanied by experts in their fields with special lecturers and exclusive excursions. All the Fred Olsen ships have single cabins. Similar cruises are available with Saga Cruises and their ships also have single cabins. Full details of all these cruises can be found on their websites. Happy sailing - Jan
