When you think of luxury, you think of a 5* cruise line with all the added extras that you could possibly wish for. Regent Seven Seas cruises offer that, and a whole lot more. Rated as a 6* cruise line, Regent Seven Seas is the ideal choice for honeymoon cruises, celebration cruises and those wanting to experience the true luxury of cruising.
You might think that luxury cruising means high costs, extortionate drink prices and expensive service charges - not on a Regent Seven Seas Cruise. In fact, on all Regent Cruises, all of your drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), all of the magical shore outings, flights and transfers are all included in the price of your cruise - allowing you to budget for your shopping and other little extras.
Regent Seven Seas cruises are well renowned for their opulence. Cruising with Regent really is the most luxurious way to travel the seas. Many of the elegant suites benefit from a personal butler service, making you trip even more relaxing and hassle-free.
Of course, every suite is decorated to the highest standard and most benefit from a balcony - simply what you would expect from a 6* service. The ships are small, with a capacity of between 300 to 700 passengers, with a incredible ratio of 2 members of crew to every 3 guests.
Dining on board a Regent Seven Seas cruise is an experience like no other, with the finest fare and complementary wines served throughout your meal. Each ship has at least four of the finest restaurants on the seas. Guests onboard a Regent Cruise can expect only the best cuisine and handpicked wines.

Regent History
The company has a complicated history. It was born out of Seven Seas Cruises, which was originally based in San Francisco. For many years, it was part of the Carlson group, and operated as Radisson Seven Seas Cruises. Carlson Hospitality Worldwide ventured into cruising via its Radisson Hotels International division - hence, Radisson Diamond Cruises (when Radisson Diamond joined in 1992). In 1994 Radisson Diamond Cruises and Seven Seas Cruise Line merged to become Radisson Seven Seas Cruises, and in 2007 it became Regent Seven Seas Cruises. Also in 2007, the company was bought by US-based investment group Apollo Management, and, together with Oceania Cruises, was placed under the umbrella of its Prestige Cruise Holdings. It spent $40 million to refurbish its three ships in 2009-10.

We were interested to
make comparisons with
Cunard grill class and
were pleasantly surprised
by Regent with we found
better than Cunard due to
the same high class
service delivered all
over the ship, rather
than that confined to the
grill class area on
Cunard...
Our first cruise with
Regent and interesting
comparisons with Cunard
Princess Grill class.
Princess grill is
excellent by comparison
but Regent offer the same
good service throughout
the ship rather than just
the limited areas in the
grill class so...
Really enjoy Regent Seven
Seas Cruises and have
sailed on all their ships
quite a few times. The
company seems content, as
do it's newest
passengers, with their
five star rating although
we were bigger fans when
they were trying to
achieve six star...
Regent Seven Seas is a
premium cruise line, so
how would it shape up to
Cunard’s grills or
even Celebrity’s
Aqua Class?
You pay a premium price
but then you’d
struggle to spend any
money on board, unless
you like spa treatments
or...
My partner and I took our
first cruise from Seward
to Vancouver with Regent
Seven Seas onboard the
Navigator, back in June.
We chose Regent for their
All Inclusive philosophy
and smaller ship size..
Regent had scheduled us
to fly from the UK to
Anchorage...
Have just returned from a
lovely cruise around the
Greek Islands from Athens
to Istanbul. Excellent
cruise line. We felt the
balance just perfect,
luxurious but relaxed.
Regent is all inclusive
and this aspect certainly
made us relax...
The cruise was actually
in the Black Sea which
you don't allow for in
your destination box
below. Everything about
the cruise and the ship
was outstanding. Couldn't
fault a thing, from the
accommodation to the food
to the service etc etc...
We have just come back
from our cruise on the
Navigator. We have
previously sailed on the
Mariner which is a super
ship. We have sailed on
other ships the size of
the Navigator but found
this ship rather cramped
for in the public areas...
For those of you who
don’t want a full
report of a 21 day cruise
here are the pros and
cons:
Pros: Nice small ship; no
WOW factor whatever;
excellent staff/crew to
guest ratio; fantastic
food; well organised
excursions; Ray Solaire,
cruise director;...
