How this score is created
The ship has a smart, but dated profile, a deep clipper bow, and twin funnels. It has been fairly well maintained, although it is showing its age. There is a wrap-around painted steel outdoors promenade deck, a decent amount of open deck space for sunbathing, and small “kidney-shaped” pool. Much of the open space outdoors is covered by canvas awnings (providing shelter from the summer sun).
Inside, it’s easy to find your way around. The few public rooms are dressed in cheerful, warm colors, although ceilings are low, which provides a cramped feeling. Decor and artwork are eclectic, and deck names are Greek. There’s a small nightclub with forward observation views. There is no library (except for some old paperbacks). On one of the upper decks, a dance floor is provided outdoors, with a bar called Jailhouse Rock.
Expect lines for buffets and shore excursions. There are many announcements. The onboard currency is the euro, and gratuities are not included in the fare. The dress code is casual throughout (no formal nights).
