Q: What is the daily temperature likely to be in Alaska crusing the inside passage from Seattle at the end of August. We would appreciate some clues as to clothes to take 3 answers

It should be warm and sunny maybe some days might be overcast. The temp varies from the highs could be anywahere from 60F to 75F and the lows could be 45Fto 65F the only time it's really cold is when you go into Glacier bay and then you might need a windbreaker and a wool cap. But generally summer in Alaska is beautiful and warm to cool very comfortable.

Yes you will need an umbrella and Sun Screen!

Take layers which include rainwear. It will not be cold at sea level unless you are by the glaciers and the sun could well shine and be very warm but more likely is that you will get some rain and some wind so just be prepared for it all. .......Neil
