How this score is created
The Oasis Spa is located on one of the uppermost decks, clustered around the base of the funnel housing. It contains a gymnasium with some decent muscle-toning equipment and large picture windows that overlook one of the swimming pools, saunas and changing rooms for men and women, and beauty salon (on a different deck), as well as a display of exercise clothing for sale.
The spa is operated by Harding Brothers, a UK-based concession that provides the staff and a wide range of beauty and wellness treatments. Examples of treatments include: Body Toning (detox for the body); Seaweed Wrap; Collagen Velvet Facial Mask, and a range of aromatherapy treatments.
Examples of prices: a full body massage is £60 (50 minutes); an Indian head massage is £42 (45 minutes); a holistic facial is £45 (75 minutes). A manicure is £24 (45 minutes), while a pedicure is £35 (45 minutes). Note that if you want to book spa treatments (massage, facial, hairdressing), it is wise to do so as soon after you embark as possible, as time slots do fill up quickly aboard large ships such as this – particularly on the shorter cruises.
