We went on Ventura in November 09 and Catalina Island was substitute by Grenada which we preferred having been to Catalina Island on previous occassions. Anyway, it eliminated having to tender which, with 3000 passengers, would have been a nightmare.

We are on cruise noo4 which sails this Saturday . Catalina island as been dropped and Antigua added , from what I can gather from crew on board is that P&O damaged a coal reef as she is so big , certain persons are wanting compensation from P&O , and P&O ain't paying alledgedly , hope this helps you , have a great cruise

It was because Ventura ran aground on a sandbank some time ago. Recent cruises have been rescheduled and another island added. Probably either Antigua or Grenada. Changes to dates may occur....Brian
