Went on OV1 last Sept 14 days around the eastern med. When you arrive in your cabin you will find order forms giving different wine packages available. We purchased ours in the restaurants where there was a greater choice and they varied in price starting at £9 a bottle they had special offers on every nite. You could take the bottles out of the restaurant and drink them in any of the bars you just had to ask the waiters for glasses we even took bottles back to our cabin as there was a fridge in all the cabins on OV1.

Further to what Solender says, we were on OV1 last week in May/first week in June. Various packages of red, and/or white wines.
As an example, you could get four bottles of white wine, each different, and with on board prices prices ranging from approx. £12 - £16, for about £51.50. Order forms will be in your cabin, and someone will be promoting them in the reception area on the day you board.

We were on board 14 days in May. The shop on board which just sells alcohol and cigarettes is designed for purchases to take away at the end of your cruise. If you take any alcohol away from the shop to drink onboard, there is a £10 corkage charge. This includes spirits, so in this case it can be worthwhile. There are 8 wine packages available on board but I don't think the saving is that great and you are stuck with wiith wines included which you may not want. You will find an order form in your cabin - this should be returned to Reception and your order will be delivered to your cabin. We ate at the James Martin Bistro and had a bottle of his wine selection. It was £19.95 a bottle and worth every penny! You can certainly buy this to drink in your cabin. Have a wonderful cruise!
