Sports and fitness programs are offered yearround. The Sports Deck is a mecca for active passengers. Golf instruction and a driving range, plus two outdoor pools, are available on Sun Deck. Upstairs on Sky Deck is the basketball and volleyball court. The International Deck offers a small pool. The Spa and Fitness Center on the Sports Deck has been enlarged to accommodate a full-service spa with eight treatment rooms for massage therapy, herbal wraps, and facials. A weight room has Cybex training equipment. Aerobics and other exercise classes balance excesses at the Chocoholic Buffet. A wide walking/jogging track wraps around Promenade Deck. The beauty salon is next to the Observation Lounge. Tiered teak decks, separated by decorative greenery, are a sunbathers’ and people-watchers’ delight at the forward pool. It’s an innovative design, but it’s noisy.
