Norwegian Dream

Fabulous entertainment is the cruise highlight. Passengers often give the shows standing ovations. Dreamgirls was the opener for the Norwegian Dream, and the ship has featured 42nd Street in the Stardust Lounge, the main showroom. On alternate nights there are Las Vegas–style variety shows. The room is well laid out in four tiers, providing comfortable seats and clear sight lines. The lounge has a dance floor, and dance music may be provided. The Monte Carlo casino, dressed in hot magenta and black, offers

blackjack, Caribbean stud poker, craps, roulette, Let It Ride, and 133 slot machines. Adjacent to the casino is Dazzles nightclub, which has a circular granite bar, a circular dance floor, and curved sofas in velvet harlequin patterns. Lucky’s piano bar has a dance floor and is popular after the show. Other nighttime action takes place on the Sports Deck, anchored forward by the Observatory Lounge with floor-to-ceiling windows—an ideal spot for viewing Caribbean sunsets. Open decks are sometimes used for outdoor parties. The informal Rendezvous Bar, next to Four Seasons Dining Room, is a good meeting spot.
