NCL has always had good production shows that provide lots of color and spectacle in a predictable – though now dated – format. Each ship has a resident troupe of singers/dancers. There are two or three production shows in a typical 7-day cruise.
They are all very colorful, high-energy, razzle-dazzle shows, with much use of laser and color-mover lights. They’re not memorable but, it must be said, they’re very entertaining. All showlounges are non-smoking.
Most activities and passenger participation events range from poor to extremely poor. Nintendo Wii interactive games are available on large screens.
