Just back from a
wonderful Xmas/New Year
cruise on the Marco Polo.
It’s a great shame
to see negative reviews
about this ship - lots of
things exceeded our
expectations, especially
the entertainment which,
as others have commented,
was utterly...
We cruised to Antwerp and
Amsterdam on 17th
December to visit the
Christmas Markets. The
ship was fine for the
cruise offered - 3
nights. The staff were
very helpful, there was
no "pressure" selling and
we received a lot of help
and advice on where to
visit...
I'd read various mixed
reviews on the Marco Polo
over the past couple of
years, and as Tilbury
isn't too far from where
we live, we decided to
give the MP a try. So a
few months ago we booked
a mini-cruise to Antwerp
and Amsterdam...
Just back from a 3 night
mini cruise on the Marco
Polo. This is the second
time this year we have
done this trip on the MP
and the last one was to
escape the endless royal
wedding coverage. For
that reason alone it was
worthwhile trip...
We joined Marco Polo for
a three night Christmas
Markets cruise at
Tilbury, a very swept up
parking and boarding
arrangement in force with
no hanging about. The
cabin was fine, clean and
tidy but with the age of
the ship was noisy with
doors rattling and...
We booked this last
minute & very cheap
cruise as we are going
round the British Isles
on her next year and
wanted to sea for
ourselves what it had to
offer. So many different
reviews it was hard to
know what to believe...
This was the last voyage
of the season and there
was an 'end of term' feel
around the ship.
In this review I have
concentrated more on the
entertainment to be had
on the Marco Polo.
This was my 8th voyage on
the magnificent Marco
polo since Cruise and...
We have just come back
from 13 nights in the
Canaries, Spain, Portugal
and Spain.
The weather was bad and
the Captain took the
decision to change our
itineray due to the
weather in the Bay of
Biscay, this meant 5 days
at sea but he the right
decision and our...
My husband and I spent 4
nights on the Marco Polo
last week on a mini
cruise. The choice of
cities was perfect for
such a short cruise-Rouen
and Brugges. The journey
along the Seine was
particularly enjoyable...
