I booked single and was charged the rate for a twin...which i got. the cabins are small, but you will not be spending too much time in there!

If you have booked a single cabin I doubt very much if the cabin will be larger, unless you get upgraded to a twin cabin for sole occupancy. Unfortunately, travelling as a single and having to pay a large supplement does not guarantee a better or bigger cabin. I usually travel as a single and many of the cabins I've been allocated in the past have been no bigger than my bathroom at home. I hope you get something a little larger and unless you choose to, you won't be spending much time in the cabin anyway. Happy cruising - Jan
