    JUST RETURNED WITH MY HUSBAND AND 5 YR OLD SON FROM AROUND THE MED. WE ARE SEASONED CRUISERS AND PREVIOUSLY USED CELEBRATION AND ARCADIA ETC.FAB WEATHER AND STAFF/ENTERTAINMENT WERE A1. THE SHIP IS A 'TUB' AND SMELLY IN PLACES AND DESPERATELY NEEDS A REFURB...

    OUR FIRST CRUISE, IN A PARTY OF 6 AGED 12 TO 50. WE HAD AN INTERNAL ROOM FOR 3 OF US WHICH WAS QUITE SMALL ON FIRST IMPRESSIONS , BUT WE SOON REALISED THAT ALL YOU DO IN THE ROOM IS SLEEP AND GET READY TO GO OUT...

    a very mixed review ,, its a very old dated ship dirty in some public areas staff were fantastic nothing was too much trouble, cabins were small but clean , didnt do any excursions we did our own thing , barcelona zoo is a must it was one of the best days we...

    Have just returned from Island cruise. As it was our first cruise nothing to compare it too. I would agree the ship is a tired old girl and needs a lot of money spending on her but please don't be put off by other reviews...

    High season cruising can be expensive but if you are prepared to compromise a little on the luxury other big brand ships offer, you need not miss out on good quality food, reasonable entertainment, perfectly acceptable accommodation and still visit...

    We have just retruned from a 7 night cruise of the Med. It was one of the best holidays we have ever had. Rooms are small but lots of storage space, cabin stewards were very attentive as were all the staff. The entertainment was OK and there was lots to do...

    The Island Escape is an old ship in need of a facelift and an update, but is is clean and tidy. The crew and staff work hard to keep it this way, but when the crome plate has been polished away it's had to get it to shine any more...
