It depends on the sea state and the captain. Remeber you are in the southern ocean and it has a reputation. This is nature at its best, not man made so can not be controlled. ########################

The probable reason it will not be stopping at Port Stanley is because of the sea swells, very fey cruise ships that are booked to stop at the Falkland’s actually manage to do so, so to save repeated disappointment from the passengers a lot of lines have removed it from their itinerary

My advice would be to phone Holland America and ask them these same questions.
You will then hear it from the Horses mouth so to speak.
Also you could email them.

The ship's itenary can change, usually they have a reason for this although not obvious when it has it listed in the December cruise, you would need to ask Holland America direct or via your travel agent but it is very disappointing when this happens...Bill
