How this score is created

. This a slightly larger, extended version of Costa Fortuna/Costa Magica. One of the three pools can be covered by a sliding glass dome (magrodome) in case of poor weather (the ship operates Mediterranean cruises year-round), while one pool has a long water slide (great for kids). There is not a lot of open deck space, but Costa Concordia does absorb passengers well.

There are three decks full of bars and lounges plus lots of other public rooms. This ship has a nine-decks-high, glass-domed rotunda atrium lobby, with a lively bar on the lowest deck, adjacent to the reception and shore excursion desks. The Barcelona Casino is large and glitzy. There’s also a chapel, and a small library that could be better, an internet center, card room, art gallery, and video game room. Most passengers are Italian.
